Secondary
CCA is a place where we try to live out the love of our Lord Jesus Christ on a daily basis. A place where teachers and staff are dedicated to training students to explore, in Christ, all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and grow them in wisdom, stature, and in favor with God and man. A place where students receive an outstanding education and are trained to use their minds to explore God’s truth and to unlock the mysteries of His creation. A place where students are equipped to discover and live out God’s unique plan and purpose for his or her life. A place where our students can become leaders, not only of their future, but leaders for today.
College Readiness
Our secondary students leave with a readiness for higher education
We believe that our curriculum is challenging and prepares our students well for higher education. We are also able to offer online ACE courses and the Accelerated Senior Year program through Corning Community College, providing our high school students with opportunities to gain college credit while still in high school.
Community Service
Community Service hours required for graduation
We believe that we have been called to live as Jesus lived, serving those around us. Because of that, we require our students in grades 9-12 to earn 15 hours of community service each year, with a minimum requirement of 60 hours to graduate. We offer opportunities through the school to volunteer, and also encourage students to become involved in the community on their own.
Annual Events
CCA offers a number of events annually for secondary students
Our Student Council plans and executes varying events throughout the year for our student body; everything from Spirit Week to Spring Formal.
