Preschool
Our preschool is an academic and spiritually based program that is open to all residents regardless of race, creed, or nationality. The teaching staff consists of excellent people with a keen love for children and experience in early childhood education.
In the field of early childhood education, the preschool years may be the most transformative. We are blessed to watch our students not only grow physically, cognitively, emotionally, and socially, but spiritually as well. Each day is structured around their growing needs, and the year is filled with exciting field trips, classroom visitors, and varying experiences, building on an educational foundation that is based on biblical truth and learning to love God.
Meet Mrs. Brittany Combs
Lead Teacher – 3 Year Old Class
Hello! My name is Brittany Combs and I am so excited to have the privilege of teaching CCA’s 3-year-old preschool class this fall!
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Matt, for almost 10 years and I am a mom of two beautiful children; our son, Valor, is 6 years old and our daughter, Eden, is 2.5. I grew up in Corning and now live in Watkins Glen after spending a few years out of state.
I hold a Bachelors degree in Biology with a minor in Nutrition and Health from Cornell University. I have spent the majority of my career working in research labs, but most recently taught nutrition education for Cornell Cooperative Extension.
Some of my favorite ways to spend time include taking my kids on adventures, enjoying morning coffee with my husband, listening to podcasts and sermons on theology, creating botanical jewelry, and teaching myself to code.
I look forward to teaching your little ones alongside of mine this school year!
Meet Mrs. Jennifer Jamison
Lead Teacher – 4 Year Old Class
My name is Jen Jamison and I am so excited to be back at CCA to take on a new opportunity as the Preschool 4 teacher for the 2023-2024 school yea!. I graduated in June from Southern New Hampshire University with my Masters in Psychology and Child Development Psychology and have my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. I have taught at many different levels from preschool-middle school and have a true niche for upper elementary.
My husband, Seth, and I have three boys ages 7, 6 and 4 that keep my days wild and full of love.
In my free moments I love anything and everything craft related, exploring new areas and going on any adventure my boys request! As a family we love sports, GO BILLS, and anything that involves water or a park!
God continues to have big plans for our family, and I am incredibly thankful that I get to spend the year doing what I love!
